Our service is different from other online sites due to the fact that we provide high quality photo-products at low-prices.
What does this mean to you?
The photo that you upload is saved at its original quality level and at the original size that it was photographed.
Why is this important?
Other sites/services reduce the size of the image file when you upload the digital photo to them so it is optimized for 4” x 6” photo use. That is fine if that is all you are ever going to want to use it for! However, if you ever want to make an enlargement or zoom into the photo image to crop or edit, then the resolution of the picture is going to lower and therefore the printed quality will be lower!
Implications:
As you are uploading your digital photo to Photofun at its original resolution the upload time will be longer. However, the wait is worth it - As even our 4” x 6” photo-prints look better due to this technology and all of the other products we offer can be made with crystal clear sharp photo images.
Our large format products look great also. As long as you start with a high-resolution image (4-mega-pixels or better) our posters, wall-paper and canvas products will look outstanding!
How do we provide high-quality at low-prices?
Our workflow is entirely automated. When you are on our website you are actually working within the software that communicates to all of our printing devices.

Therefore when you click on “Order” your order is processed in “real-time” and delivered directly to the printing devise that we produce your photo-product.

Who are we?
Photofun does business in the USA as Photofun, Inc., and in the Netherlands as Webprint CV. (collectively known as Photofun)
Photofun is one of the largest online photographic Service Providers in the Netherlands and one of the fastest growing photo-sharing sites in Europe. In 2006, Photofun was voted the best “Regional Provider” beating out 38 other competitors. Photofun owns all the technology and production facilities used to manage and manufacture all of the photo-services and products supported on our website.
As a result Photofun is flexible, independent of third parties and can rapidly react to developments in the digital photography market.
Photofun stores all photographic and customer information entirely free of charge in a secure server environment, so that our customer have access to their digital assets (photograph, addresses, projects, bulletins) anywhere in the world by means of Internet and mobile Internet.. It is also possible to share photographs and albums with family and friends via our proprietary developed Internet solutions. |

Photofun has developed photographic technology for mobile telephones. It is possible with certain “smart phones” to take a mobile photograph and to send via our M2Photo technology. M2Photo unlike most of the standard mobile phone camera transfer applications uses the Mobile Internet not MMS technology. The customer can also create and order photo products through a mobile Internet connection to the customer’s personal digital files.
Shipping & Handling:
Another thing that makes Photofun different is that we believe in total transparency in pricing.
Our shipping price is just what the USPS charge (no profit is added). We then charge a $1.25 payment handling fee; which is exactly what we get charged by the payment processor (for VISA, MC or AMEX payments).
So as you can see, we are not making shipping a profit center (unlike our competitors).
Photofun’s goal to get all orders into the US postal stream within five business days of receiving the order. So that customers receive orders in a 5-7 business day window (with the exception of Pure Photo Albums that will take 7-10 business days).
Photofun provides an online help function to support customer questions for the online photo services via an online helpdesk. Photofun communicates with customers by means of an online helpdesk and the bulletin board centre.
